By 2021, I was hitting up studios around San Diego recording for my first EP Blue Falls Drive. Releasing my second EP the following year, ALIGN. With in between collaborating with singers, producers, and other rappers on singles or their own full albums and projects. I am currently working on a couple collaborative projects and hope to work with more artists in every field.

Vinson Alexander III or better known as 'Vinny' is 22 year old rapper, poet, playwright, and producer hailing from the illustrious Memphis, TN. Although being exposed to music his entire life, it was only until he was in middle school when he found his passion for writing poetry. After graduating high school, Vinny proceeded to attend MTSU where he found his love for creating music.

As a founding member of the former collective NVLND Music Group, Vinny and his cohorts are striving to reconstruct the sound of modern-day Hip-Hop.

In December 2018, Vinny released his debut studio album 'Moth' that in turn received high local notoriety throughout Tennessee as well as support across the entire nation. Then in April 2020, Vinny released his second project, 'The World Is Yours', consisting of the ins & outs of a young virtuoso's lifestyle. With life, love, as well as loss hitting him all at once, Vinny birthed 'Summer's Over - EP' in February 2021, executively produced by himself— a project reflecting on the deepest emotional recesses of his mind. In his project 'IMAGES - EP' we can find a perfect form of imagery told in the rawest, yet concise way by the Emcee. Now, his latest project 'FLIRTING WITH MYSELF', Vinny explores a new avenue of musicianship while maintaining originality within his raps, choruses, & abstract storytelling.

Born in New York City and raised in the Hudson Valley (845 area) of New York State, Thought Provokah found inspiration from hip-hop through hanging around his older brother--as they are eight years apart and his brother was around from the inception of hip-hop--and listening to the soul, blues, jazz and funk his father played--as his father was apart of Traditionalists or Silent Generation which are the architects of the hip-hop sound. Thought was a talented writer throughout his scholastic career and took basketball more serious than music, but as luck would have it, he didn’t get as far with basketball as he had hoped. After years of being a hobbyist, he decided to release a mixtape called “Thought Thursdays Act:1” in 2016. Also, in 2016, he decided to take a chance on a Teambackpack World Underground competition in New York and although he lost, he comported himself quite well with stiff competition. He has also connected with Grind Mode Cypher in some memorable cyphers that helped test his lyrical abilities against elite emcees.  Now with three projects under his belt like: “HeadKnock Effect” (2018),  and two other projects with producer duMB-o called “What You Thought You Heard” (2019) and “Can I Rap For You” (2020), he looks to build a stronger, more substantial catalogue. He has numerous other projects with supergroups NMLS and EMS--both of which are a collection of creatives he is a part of--that we all should look forward to in the year to come.
