blkk j is a Midwest based rapper and producer. His sound is very nostalgic and has hints of the East Coast. As a rapper, he grabs inspiration from the likes of Jay Z, Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco and MF DOOM. While his production is inspired by Dilla, Madlib, and Pete Rock.

HUES is an artist and producer from Michigan. He’s been behind the boards for years, dropping his first full length project Heavy Upon Every Soul in 2021 with the deluxe soon to follow. Since then, he’s released singles and EPs leading up to the release of Greetings From Tombstone, his newest full length project. HUES is a member of the production collective House with fellow producers iSight, Mudai, JAYJAY!, Soulo, Mai’Seo, and Evans, releasing beats on Tape 2 under the collective. He also was a member of Korban Baxter’s MadMan Studios, collaborating frequently with its members until its disbandment in 2023.
